Archiving Policy

Insight Pustaka is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published works. To achieve this, we implement the following archiving policies:

  1. Digital Preservation

    • All published monographs, proceedings, and academic books are stored in a secure digital repository to prevent data loss.
    • Regular backups are performed to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  2. Indexing and Institutional Repositories

    • Insight Pustaka collaborates with institutional repositories, libraries, and indexing databases to archive published works.
    • Authors are encouraged to deposit their publications in institutional repositories to enhance visibility and accessibility.
  3. LOCKSS and CLOCKSS Systems

    • Insight Pustaka participates in LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) to provide a decentralized and distributed preservation system.
    • These systems ensure continued access even in case of a system failure or data loss.
  4. National and International Library Deposits

    • Published works are archived in national and international libraries to ensure wider accessibility.
    • We comply with legal deposit requirements where applicable.
  5. Self-Archiving Policy

    • Authors are permitted to self-archive the final published version of their work in personal, institutional, or subject-based repositories.
    • Proper citation and acknowledgment of Insight Pustaka as the original publisher are required.
  6. Permanent Identifiers

    • All publications are assigned DOI (Digital Object Identifier) and other permanent identifiers to ensure persistent access and citation.
  7. Access in Case of Discontinuation

    • In the event that Insight Pustaka ceases operations, all published works will remain accessible through partnering archives and digital repositories.
